The College Library is as old as the institution itself. To its collections are study materials that have aided to the student’s knowledge needs for over 35 years. In 2009 the college came under the umbrella of the Government of Nagaland and since then, the library has been growing. The college library caters knowledge and services to about 300 students, 40 college staffs and interested research scholars. In the recent years, due to the pressuring demands for quality education across the nation, the library has invested on up-gradation and automation of its services. The library has registered under INFLIBNET Delhi for its IMLS and installed SOUL 2.0 for its automation services. It is semi-automated and attempts will be made to fully atomize in the near future. The library has a collection of 3,200 books and has also initiated subscription of journals, magazines, newspaper, newsletter, e-journals, e-books, e-novels and reports that will help students enrich their learning and research resources.

The library facilitates basic students’ service; student’s library card which is issued at the time of admission, and is surrendered along with clearance certificate from the librarian at the time of leaving the college without which a student’s caution Deposit cannot be redeemed. Book lending and borrowing of maximum 3 books for Honours students and 2 books for general students for 15 days is allowed per students, failure of which a fine is collected or is blacklisted with a notice and even exposed in the college Notice Board. Books defaced or lost should have to be replaced with another copy of the book or the amount of the books is collected as fine from the defaulter.

The library timings start from 9:00 am till 3:00 pm and is open for the weekdays and working Saturdays. Photocopying services for students and teachers at a discounted rate is also another feature. In order to encourage library attendance by students and faculty, Best Library user Award was started in 2018.

The library also started its book club to develop the habit of reading and also initiated Students Library to earn while they learn. In a semi-urban/semi-rural set-up, the college library is thriving to provide its best services to students who come from rural backgrounds and encourage improvement in education by quality services to meet their needs and demands by gradually adopting library standards on par with the rest of the educational institutions across the nation.
