In line with the Nation-Wide two-month long Intensified IEC Campaign on HIV and STI awareness, the Red Ribbon Committee of Pfutsero Government College organized Folk and Flash Mob performances across multiple locations in Pfutsero Town on 11th September 2025.
The performances aimed to spread awareness on HIV prevention, safe practices, and the importance of early testing and treatment. Students from the college actively participated, engaging the community through traditional folk elements and lively flash mobs that conveyed health messages in an accessible manner.
The initiative received positive response from the public, drawing large crowds and generating interest among different age groups. The campaign highlighted the role of youth in advocacy and reinforced collective responsibility in combating HIV and STIs within the community.
