The 7th Edition Alumni Day of Pfutsero Government College was held on 31st October 2025 at 12:00 noon in the College Auditorium. The event embraced the theme “Giving Back, Looking Forward,” aiming to recognize the significance of alumni in institutional development and to strengthen the tradition of contributing to the alma mater.
The programme began with Ms. Lizitu Thur as the Leader. The College Anthem set a respectful and enthusiastic tone for the gathering, followed by the Invocation delivered by Chitshovie-o Kadzuso, EU President.Mr. Elika Mero, President of the PGCAA, delivered a warm Welcome Address and acknowledgements, highlighting the achievements of alumni and their role in uplifting the college. Kuvethito Cürhah, General Secretary, PGCAA, presented the General Secretary’s Report, detailing recent association activities and accomplishments.A special performance by Sh Dynamic was well received by the audience. After which, the Best Student Award and Best Teacher Award were presented.
The keynote speech was delivered by the Guest Speaker, Mr. Krishna Ramauli, a noted entrepreneur, who shared valuable insights on the event’s theme. He also shared his struggles after graduation and how he was able to overcome the challenges through resilience, perseverance, consistency, honesty and hard work. He further urge the Alumni to follow the same path and to embrace the spirit of giving back to society and strive for continuous development.The event also included the induction of new alumni office bearers, with Mr. Suvikhru Rume elected as the new President of PGCAA for the tenure 2025–2027, and a special prayer led by Thejosulu Puro, Superintendent, Children Ministry, PTBC. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ongtipong Imchen and a benediction by Nirmaya Chettri. After which, followed by photo session and lunch.
The 7th Edition Alumni Day not only encouraged the spirit among past students but also underscored the importance of alumni engagement in elevating the institution for future generations.
