NSS Special Summer Camp 2025-26

The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Pfutsero Government College successfully organized a Special Summer Camp at Pfutseromi Village as part of its 2025–26 activity.
The programme, held under the NSS motto “Not Me But You,” witnessed active participation from student volunteers who undertook the task of cleaning the adopted village surroundings. Equipped with cleaning tools, the volunteers collected plastic wrappers, waste materials, and other litter scattered across public areas, thereby contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment.
A total of 52 NSS volunteers, accompanied by the Vice Principal and two NSS Programme Officers, attended the Special Summer Camp held at Pfutseromi Village from March 13–14, 2026. Their collective efforts reflected a strong commitment towards community service and environmental awareness.
The initiative aimed to promote sanitation, environmental responsibility, and civic consciousness among both the volunteers and the local residents. Villagers appreciated the efforts of the students and extended their support during the drive.
The cleanliness activity formed a key part of the NSS Special Camp held under Phek district, focusing on instilling teamwork, discipline, and a sense of social responsibility among the youth.
The programme concluded with a message encouraging continued collective efforts to maintain cleanliness and protect the environment.
