Pfutsero Government College successfully conducted its 43rd Annual Games & Sports Meet 2025 from 14th to 18th October 2025 at the Sports Complex in Pfutsero. The event, themed “Beyond Limits, Towards Glory,” was inaugurated by Special Guest Shri. Kikrusbei Senotsu, Sub-Treasury Officer of Pfutsero, with Dr. Anungla Pongener, Principal of PGC, as the Guest of Honour.
The opening ceremony included flag unfurling, invocation, welcome note, speeches, special performances, an oath-taking ceremony, a march past, and exhibition matches between staff and students for both men and women. Four enthusiastic teams—Raven, Redhawk, Phoenix, and Falcon—competed in diverse sports events, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.
The closing ceremony on 18th October featured prize distribution, special performances, and a speech by the Guest of Honour, Dr. Anungla Pongener. The Redhawk team emerged victorious, winning the Group Champion Lt. Tavezo Theluo Memorial Trophy (Running Trophy), recognizing their exceptional performance.
