The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Department of Economics, Pfutsero Government College, jointly organised a Good Will Outreach Programme as part of their Extension Service to the feeding Higher Secondary Schools at Pfutsero Town on 10th and 16th September 2025.
As part of the programme, the team visited Government Higher Secondary School, Nazareth Higher Secondary School, Tewelhi Medo Tyrannus Higher Secondary School and Chakhesang Mission Higher Secondary School, Pfutsero. The initiative was aimed at strengthening academic ties with the feeder institutions, creating awareness about higher education opportunities, and motivating students to pursue future academic goals.
During the visit, the faculty members interacted with the students and teachers, highlighting the importance of higher learning, life skills, and career development. The outreach also sought to encourage students to consider Economics and other academic disciplines as prospective fields for further studies at the undergraduate level.
The participating schools expressed their appreciation for this initiative, and the programme fostered goodwill and collaboration between Pfutsero Government College and the higher secondary schools within its academic periphery. The event concluded with positive feedback and a mutual commitment to continue such academic and developmental exchanges in the future.
