Pfutsero Government College Skill Development Committee, in collaboration with Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre, Dimapur, successfully organized a Six-Day Entrepreneurship Skill Development Training Program from 24th February 2025 to 1st March 2025. The program aimed to equip students with essential hands-on skills and practical knowledge in various fields, fostering self-reliance and entrepreneurship.
A total of 239 students, along with faculty members and staff, actively participated in the training sessions, which were conducted for two hours daily after regular classes. The training covered the following key areas:
1. Fruit & Vegetable Dehydration and Processing – Techniques to preserve and add value to perishable produce.
2. Waste Management – Sustainable practices for waste reduction and recycling.
3. House Wiring & Maintenance – Basic electrical installation and safety measures.
4. Hollow Brick Making – Hands-on training in eco-friendly brick production.
The program was sponsored by the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and provided participants with valuable insights and practical skills. The initiative not only benefited students by enhancing their employability and entrepreneurial capabilities but also proved to be highly enriching for faculty and staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the institution.
