Sexual Harassment is considered as a malic that need to be dealt with promptness and severity at all levels. In order to take a concerted effort and appropriate steps to put in place a mechanism to prohibit, prevent and to address any form and degree of sexual harassment, the college set up anti-sexual harassment cell. The cell is headed by a convenor and three members.
Aims and Objectives: –
1. To sensitize the campus community on gender issues.
2. To create an environment free from harassment, violence, exploitation and intimidation.
3. Seeks to prevent discrimination against women by promoting gender amity/cordiality among students and employees.
4. To provide a healthy and friendly atmosphere to students, teachers and non-teaching faculty of the college.
5. To take action when complaints of discrimination and harassment are lodged by the victims or third party address to the committee.
6. To ensure equal access of all facilities and participation in activities of the college.
7. To promote social and psychological environment that will raise awareness about sexual harassment in its various form.
