Red Ribbon Club

The Red Ribbon club is a voluntary on campus intervention for students in educational institutions. The club is initiated and supported by SACS-State Aids Control Society; the programme addresses the knowledge, attitude and behavior of the youths and serves as a complementary and comprehensive promotional and Preventive intervention to enhance Voluntary Blood Donation as well as mainstream HIV and AIDS prevention, care and support and treatment

Impact, mitigation and stigma reduction while also preparing and promoting youth peer education within and outside the campuses. The RRC Pfutsero College was formed in 2006 upon the directive of the Department of Higher Education, Nagaland; the Club continued its programme under NSACS-Nagaland State Aids Control Society from 2008. The club organizes programs and activities such as Seminars, quiz competition, counseling, poster campaign etc. The club is headed by a Nodal Officer.

Objectives
1. To promote responsible behavior.
2. To disseminate information through peer Education.
3. To strengthen voluntary Blood Donation.
4. To involve youth in program planning and implementation.
