PGC organised Two-Day National Seminar at Ruzazho from 25th – 26th April 2017

A two day Seminar on the theme ‘The Battle of Kohima’ and its impact to India’s freedom was conducted to Ruzazho Village of Phek District, Nagaland. The seminar was sponsored by Indian Council of Historical Research. The seminar was organised by Pfutsero Government College and Co-organised by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Memorial Development Society, Nagaland and Chakhesang Students Union.

The inaugural session was graced by Shri Acharya, Hon’ble Governor of Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh as the Chief Guest and Shri Tathagata Roy, Hon’ble Governor of Tripura as the Guest of Honour. A Valedictory session was graced by Mr Subenthung Kithan, President, Naga Students Federation. A resolution was adopted to recognise Ruzazho Village as the first INA Administered village (1944). A signature campaign was conducted and addressed to the Central Government (GOI) to get due recognition.
