13 students and 5 teachers of History Department visited Makhel Village under Senapati District of Manipur on 6th October 2018. On their way the team visited ‘Tsudubo’ in Tsuphume Village. At Makhel the group visited the Sacred Banyan Tree, the group interacted with a senior retired teacher who highlighted them on the history and significance of the Banyan Tree. The team also visited the house of the village chief and the Sacred Pear Tree at Shajouba.
